How long do I soak a Chia Pet and the seeds for? - pet seed

In the back of the Chia Pet seeds take up the pot and Chia seeds for 24 hours should. But in the instructions it says in the pot and soak chia seeds in water for 1 hours. It is a huge difference! What is it? How long do I enjoy?
